For students that want to learn more about a particular subject or want to go beyond their school curriculum, we offer enrichment programs for a variety of subjects. Students can sign up for as many courses as they like. Each program is designed to be 30 minutes, once a week, for five weeks. All meetings are conducted over Zoom, and we will work with your schedule!

This course delves into topics from a pre-algebra class, including equations, inequalities, proportions, percentages, ratios, and more! You will focus on at least 1 topic with your mentor during the 5 weeks. There is no specific prerequisite needed, but students should have a good foundation in basic operations, fractions, and decimals.

This course delves into topics from an algebra 1 class, including linear functions and inequalities, exponential functions, sequences, quadratic functions, radical functions, rational functions, and more! You will focus on at least 1 topic with your mentor during the 5 weeks. The recommended prerequisite for this course is pre-algebra.

This course delves into topics from an introductory high school geometry class, including graphing and transformations, congruence proofs, similarity proofs and more! You will focus on at least 1 topic with your mentor during the 5 weeks. The recommended prerequisite for this course is algebra 1.

This course delves into topics from an algebra 2 class, including polynomial functions, logarithms, matrices, linear programming, and more! You will focus on at least 1 topic with your mentor during the 5 weeks. The recommended prerequisites for this course are algebra 1 and geometry.

Math Competition Prep

This course delves into the structure and levels of math competitions and the steps to prepare for them. Students will learn about many math competitions, and the mentor will select a few competitions that are appropriate for the student's math skills. Students will solve math competition problems and learn different problem-solving strategies. There are no prerequisites for this course.

This course delves into the basics of the AP Chemistry course, mostly focusing on atomic structure and properties. There are no specific prerequisites for this course.

This course focuses on the first two units of the AP Physics 1 class: kinematics and dynamics. Students will learn the basics of 1 and 2 dimensional motion, forces, and Newton's laws. Recommended prerequisites for this class are algebra 1 and geometry.

Engineering / Technology

CAD (Computer-Aided Design)

This class focuses on CAD (computer-aided design) using a free program called Onshape. A student will learn how to create simple 3-D models. There are no prerequisites for this course.

Intro to Computer Science

This course gives students a basic introduction to coding and computer science principles. A student will learn about conditionals, booleans, abstractions, lists, and more! They also have the opportunity to apply their knowledge with a visual programming language called Snap! There are no prerequisites for this course.
